Challenges for Disadvantaged Youth
Lack of Skills
The growing cost of education prevents disadvantaged youths from receiving quality training and education.
Marginalisation
There are limited opportunities to change their living conditions, and this widens the income gap.
Vulnerabilities
Low self-esteem and self-confidence.
HELPING OTHERS HELP THEMSELVES
The programme provides a holistic approach in hospitality technical training and life skills to youths in their late teens to early twenties from disadvantaged backgrounds so that they may learn a trade and how to live in large cities, and lead productive and self-sustaining lives as model individuals in their communities.
